Party. Announcement Party. We are having an announcement party to
publicly disclose the new owner and the new manager so I hope y'all can
make it by here Feb 15th sometime between 5 and 10pm. It's "in the
wind" that The Coal Yard has a new owner. Well, curiosity killed the
cat but we think your curiosity won't be lethal in this case so come on
out and indulge it. PJ Brunson will be in the Baby Cage and a local
author will be book signing, a lot going on that night so come on out
for it!!! Also, it's a good opportunity for you to have a little
social lubricant and tell me what you really think of me :)
Sounds like a winner tonight. When is the booksigning. BTW, good news for our venue as well. The Village Cup is sadly leaving it's home of almost 5 years in Laurens, SC to re-open (hopefully) in just a couple of weeks in it's new twice as large digs, at 108 S.Public Square in downtown Laurens. I'm trying to book entertainment like the CoalYard (Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery PLUS I can't come up with a better example of how-to-do-it than you all already have over there in York!)....
Will try my darndest to make the 60 mile trek from Joanna, SouthCackilaki tonight. AND I won't even need to have any "lubricant" to speak my mind about you!. (We love you all and will miss you dearly when you head West!)
